This page explains your statutory right of withdrawal under EU consumer law, your express waiver of that right when you purchase digital content, and our voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee that we offer on top of the statutory baseline.

1. Your statutory right of withdrawal (14 days)

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (transposed in Austria via the Fern- und Auswärtsgeschäfte-Gesetz, FAGG), consumers ordinarily have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving reasons. The withdrawal period ends 14 days after the day the contract is concluded.

2. Loss of the withdrawal right for digital content

For digital content delivered electronically (which Deutsch30 is), the right of withdrawal lapses once performance has begun, provided the consumer has:

  • Given express prior consent to immediate performance, and
  • Acknowledged that this consent results in loss of the right of withdrawal.

At checkout, you will be asked to tick a box confirming both points. If you do not tick the box, performance will not begin during the 14-day period and the right of withdrawal remains intact.

3. Model withdrawal notice

If you have a right of withdrawal (i.e. you did not waive it as described above), you may exercise it by sending us a clear statement before the 14-day period expires. You may use the following template:

We will refund all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery, without undue delay and at the latest 14 days after the day on which we are informed of your decision. We use the same means of payment that you used for the initial transaction unless you expressly agreed otherwise.

4. Voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee

Separately from the statutory right above, we offer a voluntary no-questions-asked refund within 30 days of purchase, even if you have already started consuming the content.

To request a refund under this guarantee:

  1. Email info@deutsch30.com from the address linked to your account.
  2. Include the email address you used to purchase. No reason is required.
  3. We will issue the refund to your original payment method within 14 calendar days.

After 30 days from purchase, refunds are at our discretion and normally not granted, except where you have not had the opportunity to access the service due to a technical failure on our side.

5. Account closure and data deletion

Independent of any refund, you may close your account at any time and request deletion of your personal data under the GDPR. See the Privacy Policy for details, or email info@deutsch30.com.

6. Disputes

If you are not satisfied with how a refund request has been handled, please contact us first at info@deutsch30.com. You may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged and not willing to participate in arbitration proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
